Performing in Singapore

Last night there were three performances, and we were last on the bill. The opening act was a West Coast Swing improv and the couple was really good. Honestly, I was shocked to see how good they were. I don’t know why I think it’s odd that people on this side of the world dance WCS – really it’s no different than people dancing lindy hop – but still! So yes, they were a hair-whipping good time! The second act was a contemporary piece to some epic music. The dancers shared their struggle, their life, their death, and their demons with the audience. And it was beautiful. I was afraid it was going to be cheesy, but quite the contrary. I loved the piece. And then there was us. Yeah….it was an incredibly diverse night of performances.

Without further¬†adieu, here is our “Whoa Babe” performance from last night.
